Dr. Gopal Raman Sharma is the Head of the Department of Neuroscience at Nepal Medicate. He has done his MBBS from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital and MS in Neurosurgery form Karachi University, Pakistan. He did his Fellowship in Neurovascular Surgery form Kurume University, Japan and Fellowship of International College of Surgeons in Neurosurgery (FICS). Previously he worked as a visiting Professor at Nepal Medical College in the Department of Neurosurgery. He was also associated with NAMS, Bir Hospital as a professor in the Department of Neurosurgery and was the president of the Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons.
