Dr Kamal Lamsal is currently one of the best Cardiologists in Nepal. He has 20 years of experience in Medicine and Cardiology service starting at Manmohan Cardiac Centre TU Teaching Hospital, then as Consultant Cardiologist at Alka Hospital and currently at Civil Service Hospital. He is author of the popular book, रक्तचाप- समस्या तथा समाधान which has significant impact on hypertension and heart diseases awareness in the country. He is also author of चिकित्सा शब्द सागर, English Nepali Medical Dictionary. He was very influential student from his early schooling as reflected by his Board 6th Position in SLC exam from a Government school of Parbat District and has inspired generations of students in their study and career since then. Dr Lamsal also has published several research articles in different national and international journals. Considering all these major contributions, he was awarded the Best Doctor 2078 Award by CashNep Foundation.
