Kmine is the drug that acts on nervous system for anesthesia. It contains ketamine 50mg/ml in 2ml ampoule that is used for induction and maintenance of anesthesia. It induces dissociative anesthesia, a trance-like state providing pain relief, sedation, and amnesia.

Dose and Direction of Use

Mode of Action
Ketamine binds non-competetively to the phencyclidine recognision site on N-methyl-D-aspartate(NMDA) receptors. It exerts effect at other sites including opioid receptor and muscarinic receptors and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.
