LUZO is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It acts by preventing the growth of the fungus.

Dose and Direction of Use
Use this medication on the skin only. Wash and dry your hands before applying the medication. Apply a thin film of medication on the affected area and rub gently as directed by the doctor, usually once a day. The length of treatment is defined by the kind of infection being treated.
Mode of Action
Luliconazole appears to inhibit ergosterol synthesis by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol demethylase. Inhibition of this enzyme’s activity by azoles results in decreased amounts of ergosterol, a constituent of fungal cell membranes, and a corresponding accumulation of lanosterol

Contraindications
Don't take this medicine if you have:
- Hypersensitivity to luliconazole
Precautions and Warning
- Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.
- Pregnancy Category C
- Caution should be exercised when luliconazole is administered to a nursing woman.
- Don't apply this medication in eyes,nose,mouth or vagina.
- Don't apply more than prescribed as it can result in risk of side effect.
- Don't share this medication even if you have the same symptoms with the next person.
