NINJA-SR is the brand name of Diclofenac Sodium 100 mg Sustained Release Tablet. It reduces pain and inflammation in the body.

Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs)
Dose and Direction of Use
Tablet to be swallowed as a whole with water. Consume with meal. Don't crush, chew or break the tablet.
Mode of Action
- When an injurious stimuli is received our body produces arachidonic acid in response.
- Enzyme Cycloxygenase(COX) converts Arachidonic acid into prostaglandin.
- Prostaglandin is responsible for the generation of pain, inflammation and fever that we feel.
- NSAIDs act by inhibiting COX enzyme and thus inhibiting Prostaglandin synthesis.
Uses
- Rheumatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout, juvenile arthritis
- Post-operative pain
- Painful conditions where swelling is a problem such as back pain, rheumatism, muscle strains, sprains and tendonitis (e.g. Tennis elbow)
- Dental pain
- Bursitis
Contraindications
- Active peptic ulcer
- 3rd trimester of pregnancy
- Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, aspirin or other NSAID
- Cerebrovascular bleeding
- Treatment of perioperative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft
- Children under 16 years of age
Precautions and Warning
- Patients with a history of ulcer, stomach bleeding, breathing problem, kidney problem.
- Use in Pregnancy: Category B (except the risk category will be D if used in 3rd trimester of near delivery)
- Use in Lactation: Excreted into milk, ask your doctor about risk before using.
