Information
Pantazole-40 is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat gastric acid hypersecretion and to heal tissue damage caused by gastric acid. It is also used to prevent gastric damage from excessive use of NSAIDs.

Dose and Direction of Use
- Donot crush or chew the tablet; swallow the tablet with water.
- Take the mediction before meal as per the guidence of pharmacist.
- Take the medication in time and as long as recommended by the physician.
Mode of Action
Pantazole-40 suppress the final step in gatric production by covalently binding to H+/K+ enzyme system thereby inhibiting both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion.
Uses
- To prevent recurrence of stomach ulcer.
- To prevent gastric damage from use of NSAIDs.
- Used in the tripple dose therapy along with amoxicillin and clarithromycin for the treatment of H.pylori infection.
Contraindications
- Contraindicated to patuent of osteoporosis and weak bones
- Contraindicated to patient with kidney inflammation.
Precautions and Warning
- Consult with your doctor before starting and ending the medication.
- Take the medication half an hour before meal as per prescriotion.
- If you miss the dose and it is almost time for next dose, skip the missed dose.
