Information
SVAS-10 is the medicatiion called rosuvastatin which is used to lower bad cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. It is taken to prevent heart strokes and blood vessel disease.

Dose and Direction of Use
- Take the medicine at the same time everyday.
- Swallow the tablet without any modification to the tablet.
- You can take it with or without food with a glass of water.
Mode of Action
inhibits HMG-CoA reductasse enzyme and increases hepatic LDL receptor in cell surface enhancing uptake and catabolism of LDL. It selectively increases HDL and leads to excretion of cholesterol from blood level.

Contraindications
- Untreated decreased level of thyroid hormones
- Alcoholism
- Liver and renal patient
- Hemorrhage in brain
